Billing & Subscription Terms

These Billing & Subscription Terms (“Billing Terms”) govern your subscription to PulseTerminal’s paid services and supplement the Terms of Service. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to these Billing Terms.

1. Subscription Plans and Pricing

PulseTerminal offers the following subscription tiers:

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or other taxes applicable in your jurisdiction. We may adjust pricing from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email and will take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle.

2. Free Trial

Each new paid subscription includes a 14-day free trial period. During the trial, you have full access to all features of your selected plan at no charge. No payment method is required to begin a trial.

At the end of the 14-day trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate, provided you have added a valid payment method. If no payment method is on file at the end of the trial, your account will be downgraded to the free Public tier and you will lose access to paid features. Any data associated with paid features (such as extended watchlists or custom alerts beyond free-tier limits) will be preserved for 30 days, during which you may upgrade to restore access.

Each user is eligible for one free trial per plan tier. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trial periods is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination.

3. Billing Cycle and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you selected at signup (monthly or annual). Your billing cycle begins on the date your trial ends and payment is first collected.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. For monthly plans, renewal occurs on the same calendar day each month. For annual plans, renewal occurs on the anniversary of your initial subscription date. If the renewal date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), billing will occur on the last day of that month.

You will receive an email reminder at least 7 days before each renewal. Annual subscribers will also receive a reminder 30 days before renewal.

4. Payment Methods

We accept payment via major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other methods supported by our payment processor, Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize PulseTerminal (pulseterminal.space) to charge the applicable subscription fee to your payment method on each billing date.

You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If your payment method expires or is declined, you must update it within 7 days to avoid service interruption.

5. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to process the charge again up to three additional times over a period of 10 days. During this grace period, your access to paid features will remain active.

If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended and your account will be downgraded to the free Public tier. You will receive email notifications at each stage of this process. To reactivate your subscription, you must update your payment method and manually re-subscribe. Any accrued charges for the period between suspension and reactivation will be waived; however, the new billing cycle will begin from the date of reactivation.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings page or by contacting our support team at support@pulseterminal.space. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to all paid features until your current period expires.

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. Your account and associated data will remain accessible on the free Public tier. If you wish to delete your account entirely, you must submit a separate account deletion request.

7. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • [+] First billing cycle: If you are dissatisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge (after the trial period). This one-time refund applies only to your first billing cycle.
  • [+] Service outage: If the Platform experiences a continuous outage exceeding 72 hours within a billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
  • [+] Billing errors: If you are charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charges, wrong plan amount), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge within 5 business days of verification.

Outside of these circumstances, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Partial-month or partial-year refunds are not provided for cancellations made mid-cycle. We reserve the right to grant refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

To request a refund, contact billing@pulseterminal.space with your account email, the charge in question, and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

8. Plan Changes

Upgrades: You may upgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle at the difference between your old and new plan rates. The upgraded features become available immediately.

Downgrades: You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to higher-tier features until the period ends. No prorated refund is provided for downgrades.

Billing cycle changes: You may switch between monthly and annual billing. Switching from monthly to annual takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the end of your current annual period.

9. Taxes and Currency

All prices listed on the Platform are in USD. If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires the collection of sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or any other applicable tax, the tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address. You are responsible for the accuracy of your billing address and any tax implications thereof.
